Building Intentional K-12 School Plans This session is an introduction into student-focused strategic, logistical, and tactical planning. Participants will rate the mental health programs in
• A menu of community/state/district resources – availability, cost, contact/referral, and anecdotal record of past experiences
• A menu of services keyed to at-risk factors with district recommended procedures for identification and intervention
• A plan for communicating resources to school staff and monitoring their use
• A menu of community/state/district resources – availability, cost, contact/referral, and anecdotal record of past experiences
• A menu of services keyed to at-risk factors with district recommended procedures for identification and intervention including a district contact person/resource person
• A plan for an ongoing monitoring of wellness resources – their responsiveness, cost, and availability
• A plan for communicating resources, their targets, and their use to instructional staff and monitoring their use and its impact on the targeted students
• A menu of community/state/district resources – availability, cost, contact/referral process, and a district contact
• A menu of services keyed to at-risk factors with district-recommended procedures for identification and intervention
• An individual “wellness” action plan for each teacher, counselor, and support staff
• A plan for an ongoing monitoring of wellness resources – their responsiveness, cost, and availability
• A plan for monitoring resources used to determine the level of success on individual students
Each session ends with a personalized action plan based on that day’s learning. Also, each session will review the user experience and query suggestions from participants via an anonymous e-mail survey. Optionally, a check-for-understanding assessment can be included.
